My favorite tv Series

Hello again In this entry I'm going to talk about my favorite t.v. series, in this case: Dexter.

The series focuses in a forensic analyst who examine blood that is left behind at crime scenes. In the day work as a forensic, but when the night arrives he turns on a serial killer who kills bad guys -murderers-. His name is Dexter Morgan and he is a detective son who have a sister who is detective too.

Dexter Morgan is the typical guy, good neighbor, good brother and hard worker –typical psychopath–, but he got  a big trauma from his childhood and he always remember things about his traumatic past. Trauma is about his murdered mother, he saw when she was murdered and when she dies. He remember every thing about crime scene regardless his age –about three years old–.  When the time passes he developed homicidal tendencies but he was helped to convert his feelings in a good way. He have caution when he kills a guy he got all the knowledge about crime scenes and he can modify it without raise doubts –is the perfect killer–.

I remember that I saw the first, second, and third season in two or three days, this t.v. series caught me up with the first chapter because I like the antiheroes and I like the science behind the show. I was in my house with nothing to do so I though there is no problem about to see the three seasons–I have pizza, coke and a comfortable bergere I don't care–.

I have environmental awareness but I suppress it.

In this entry I'm going to talk about the green awareness.

It's very hard to have green awareness, nowadays most people don't care about this topic because the mind structure does not allow think about it. Is the fault of economic thought –I feel– and human's behavior.

Regardless the economic context many people are worrying about environment, they are a little group compared with people who don't care about green thoughts. This little segment, or niche, many times are formed by people who are enviromental activists aswell.

Green activist have a positive impact in people because they are changing their lifestyle. Most people learn about green practices in the school but they don't put it into practice in their lifestyle. I have to be honest with my readers I have never recycled –only thoughts and art projects– I used to ride a bike but due to the distances that I have to travel I normally got the subway and the bus.

I'm not an activist but I normally try to reduce my carbon foodprint making little things. I try to eat healthy –means: I don't eat meat for a time– because red meat contributes to increase the global carbon foodprint –is more eco-friendly to produce fruits and vegetables than to feed cows–

I'd like to have more enviromental awareness. We need to put into action the enviromental knowledge not just because is in vogue, but also because is a positive lifestyle that contributes to the mankind and the planet –I think–.

Cultural Management

I would like to work in a office correcting creative projects –art and design– because I need order in my life. I used to be a man with good habits and very rigorous –I sometimes feel that I lost my way studying Art, just kidding–.

Therefore I would like to work for the government in power or in a marketing office. I think that I can to learn to much about others reading their projects for to learn about their mistakes for to use their in my own projects –something similar to Albert Einstein when he worked at the patent office–.

The next year I'm going to take a program in "Cultural Management" –I have a diploma in "fine Arts Photography"– I only need a degree in anything, now I'm finishing a major in Arts -especialty: Photography- and I hope to finish it without inconveniences.

I realize that the "Art Market" is a fertile land, underexploited. You can make money easily working in management being an intermediary between the artist and the institution.

Parallel to my work in office I would like to work making art or something similar, work with models, objects and landscapes  –also called. "working in my artist EGO"–

I only want to travel to south of Chile not to travel to the entire world, I want to fish Salmones and truchas with my handmade flies in  Valdivia forest. Also I want to know the whole artists in Chile when I travel by work –maybe I only will work on a bored desk correcting dreams –


 

Last Movie I saw

Well, I'm talking about the last movie I saw. It was "The Martian" is a sci-fi movie directed by Ridley Scott (Same of Aliens saga, Gladiator and Blade Runner). I saw it the last Wednesday when my classmates were in class (I missed anything They told me). I was getting well 'cause the last Tuesday I felt sick (something that I've never felt before) 'cause I had pressure in my head so I felt like if my head and eyes were going to explode (Just I drink a glass of lemon juice for getting better).

I skip classes from Tuesday to Wednesday for getting better. I was bored in my bedroom so I decided go to the cinema for to see something different to my youtube routine. I was confused about what movie would I to see, my options were: El Botón de Nacar and The Martian (Misión Rescate). I chose the martian 'cause "El Boton de Nacar" they only exhibited in the night.

The martian is about a guy (Matt Damon) who stayed in mars due his friends were left him for dead after a martian storm. Damon uses his knowledge as a botanist for to survive up to they rescue him (helped by Chinese). Finally many things of the movie remember "Saving Private Ryan", "Interestellar" and "Gravity" you can eat your popcorn quietly, just have fun!

A little history about my pets

I like the animals in general I feel that animals are much smarter and human that many people, even their behavior are much rational –I have been observing and comparing along my life–.

I brought up in a family who treat animals, specifically dogs, as family member but neither of they are vegetarians or vegans they just like dogs. I've had  many pets in my life: gerbos,  fishes, hamsters and birds –all dead by my mistakes–. Now, I have two crossbreed dogs: Chola and Virginia they are hybrid of spaniel and rottweiler. I think that they are more healthier than purebreed dogs.

My grandfather them cooking a steak every day, they eat better than me –I said myself– because I hardly ever eat steak but I often eat junk food. They are very fat 'cause they eat bread, steak and dog food every day. Regardless the overweight They always chase the mailman when the door is open.

Finally I'd like to have a falcon for to practice falconry like a badass central asian nomad...I see myself haunting rabbits while I ride a horse in Patagonia.

Eric Clapton: The Best Concert Ever!

I always remember the day when Eric Clapton got Santiago for to play on "Estadio Nacional" stage. I remember myself listening his albums and playing some songs from the unplugged album. Those days  I used to play my electric guitar by hours –practicing scales and speed–. Also, I used to listen and learn songs from Eric Clapton while I was on playtime hours at school.

Eric Clapton is one of the best guitar players of the entire world -and time-, He is a legend and his hits are played for all who want to learn advanced guitar techniques. He still alive regardless the drugs, depression and many others things. His voice is growing up as he becomes old and I fell It turn perfect to sing blues like a colored man from Mississippi Delta -where It was born the musical forms of blues and jazz -.

The Stadium wasn't full therefore It was very comfortable. The setlist was about Reptile album. The last song was Over the Rainbow –It was a priceless moment ever–.  Regardless I was waiting for more blues songs from "from the cradle" album.

Arab country (I'm not a covered muslin)

I would like to visit an arab country because I always have been wished to learn how to write like  an arab master calligrapher. I like how they uses the qalam for to write quotes from the Coran, as well I like the calligraphy drawings (they can’t  represent religious figures so they represent using calligraphy)  and kufi calligraphy patterns.  I try to learn by heart some words, but I always forgot all (my memory is failing because I get sleep late and wake up early ). 

One day I disarmed a pan flute and I made my own qalam even I printed arab calligraphy worksheets for to learn, to write and to feel their gestures (culture behind their calligraphy). It’s really hard to understand the arabic writing skills because It’s written left to right.

The only problem about my travel is the violence shown on television (I try to calm my parents saying “All shown on television is fake and exacerbate”) . Regardless I have made up my mind and I going to buy a ticket in my next summer holidays.
